• Advent and Festival of Lights Formats 2025: From the end of November and in December 2025, you can expect atmospheric markets and arts and crafts stalls in the city center.
• “ArtsCrafts and More” – Summer 2026: The large city center arts and crafts market is expected to take place again in early to mid-summer (June/July 2026).

Locations, Schedule and Typical Times

The major arts and crafts and design markets usually take place right in the middle of the city. This provides short distances, plenty of seating, and immediate proximity to cafés and restaurants.

• Event area: Pedestrian zone around the marketplace, Ludwigstraße, as well as Obere and Untere Marktstraße.
• Opening hours: For two-day markets, typically about 10:00 am–6:00 pm.
• Admission: Free access, no tickets required.
• Supporting program: Occasionally combined with sales-promoting city center activities, depending on the date.

What to Expect: Exhibitors and Range

The markets focus on quality, originality, and craftsmanship. For the upcoming editions, a diverse mix is again expected, clearly standing out from mass-produced goods.
