KissSalis Therme Bad Kissingen | Prices & Opening Hours

The KissSalis Therme Bad Kissingen combines thermal bathing, sauna, wellness, fitness, and gastronomy over 8,000 m² for a clear day trip with high relaxation value. The website shows current occupancy levels to help you better time your visit and also offers pictures, impressions, and videos if you want to get a sense of the atmosphere, light, and architecture in advance. The spa opened in February 2004; it was built between 2001 and 2004 according to the plans of architects Kenéz and Jaeger, replacing the old movement pool in Luitpoldbad in the Garitz district and is operated by a team of over 130 permanent employees and around 70 temporary staff on 363 days a year. The name KissSalis refers to the historical formulation In Aquis Kissingen salus and directly points to healing water and spa tradition. ([kisssalis.de](https://kisssalis.de/?utm_source=openai))

Prices, Tickets & Offers at KissSalis Therme

Those looking for prices, tickets, or offers for the KissSalis Therme will find a clearly structured pricing system on the website. For the thermal landscape without sauna, there are 2-, 3-, and 4-hour tickets as well as a day pass. Those who combine the spa and sauna can choose the combined rate with the same time intervals. Additionally, you can spontaneously extend your stay; a small surcharge applies for every started 15 minutes, which sums up to the price of the day pass at most. For a clever start, there are also special rates such as the evening rate from 5 PM with the principle of paying for 2 hours and staying for 3 hours, as well as the early swimmer until 12 PM, where an additional hour is free from Monday to Thursday. ([kisssalis.de](https://www.kisssalis.de/preise))

Families and regular guests are also specifically addressed. Children up to and including 12 years receive a 50 percent discount, entry under 14 years is only possible with constant adult supervision, and children with disabilities benefit from free entry for the accompanying person under certain conditions. For regular visits, there are bonus cards and VIP bands with 15 or 20 percent discounts, rechargeable and also usable together with a partner or family. Vouchers are another important part of the offer; they can be purchased at the cash desk, in the foyer, in the bath shop, or online and printed out directly. This is a simple solution, especially for birthdays, anniversaries, or a spontaneous thank you, as the vouchers are valid indefinitely. ([kisssalis.de](https://www.kisssalis.de/preise))

Thermal Landscape, Occupancy & Photos: Thermal Water at Its Best

The thermal landscape is the heart of the facility. Spread over 1,000 square meters of water surface are 10 indoor and outdoor pools with pleasantly warm temperatures between 32 and 38 degrees Celsius. All pools are fed with valuable Bad Kissinger healing water from the Schönborn spring. In addition, there are whirlpools, massage loungers, neck showers, floor sprayers, and a saline intensive pool, where the salty water ensures weightless floating. The large indoor pool, the outdoor pool, the warm outdoor pool, and the cold and hot pools provide variety between warming up and cooling down. For children, there is a separate children's splash pool with a children's slide; additionally, a therapy pool or practice pool is available on the gallery. Daily at 10:30 AM, free water aerobics is offered, making the visit interesting for active guests as well. ([kisssalis.de](https://kisssalis.de/de/therme))

If you are looking for photos, you will also find them on the website, as the KissSalis Therme showcases its pools, relaxation areas, and exterior views in a dedicated impressions world. This is helpful if you want to get a sense of the atmosphere, light, and architecture in advance. Particularly attractive are the additional relaxation spots outside the pools: infrared seats, saline inhalation, sun island, moor room, relaxation island with a view, and a spacious sunbathing lawn turn a classic spa day into a real short vacation. The homepage also shows current occupancy levels, allowing you to plan your visit more flexibly. Especially on weekends or during holiday periods, this is a practical orientation value, as you can see how full the spa and sauna currently are. ([kisssalis.de](https://kisssalis.de/))

Sauna Park: Saunas, Infusions & Relaxation Areas

In the sauna park, the KissSalis Therme showcases its classic strength. A total of 9 different saunas and steam baths are available, along with a spacious sauna garden with outdoor saunas, relaxation rooms, and a lounge area. Depending on your mood, you can switch between garden sauna, loft sauna, panorama sauna, birch sauna, earth sauna, sanarium, planetarium or caldarium, aroma steam bath, and steam stone bath. The temperature range varies from gentle 40 degrees to significantly hotter 85 to 90 degrees; humidity and warmth characteristics also differ significantly. This mix makes the sauna park so interesting, as not every guest seeks the same heat but can choose between warming up, deep relaxation, and intense sweating. The website describes the individual saunas with temperatures, humidity, and location in the indoor or outdoor area, making planning before the visit easy. ([kisssalis.de](https://kisssalis.de/de/sauna/))

Particularly popular are the infusions and scent ceremonies, which change hourly according to the website and work with different essential oils. The offer is complemented by experience showers, a foot warmth pool, cooling plunge pools, and a large relaxation landscape with a fireplace, infrared loungers, spa beds, floating loungers, and sun terrace. Right at the sauna bar, there are fresh juices, coffee, cakes, snacks, and salads, allowing you to take a relaxed break from your sauna session. Important for everyone who really wants to unwind: In the sauna park, mobile phones and cameras are only allowed in the media lounge; the rest of the area remains a mobile-free zone. This supports the calm atmosphere and ensures that photos do not become a disruptive factor. ([kisssalis.de](https://kisssalis.de/de/sauna/))

Directions, Parking, Accessibility & Overnight Stays

The approach to the KissSalis Therme is deliberately kept uncomplicated. The facility is well signposted by car; from the north, you can reach Bad Kissingen via the A7 at Oberthulba/Bad Kissingen, from Würzburg via Hammelburg/Bad Kissingen, and from Erfurt or Bamberg via the A71 at Oerlenbach/Bad Kissingen. Those arriving by public transport can take city bus lines 2, 5, or 7 from the train station towards Münchner Straße and transfer there to line 8 to KissSalis Therme; additionally, line 8 directly serves the connection KissSalis Therme Garitz/Seeplatz. This makes the spa easily accessible for guests without a car. ([kisssalis.de](https://www.kisssalis.de/info/anfahrt-parkplatz?utm_source=openai))

When it comes to parking, the spa is generously equipped. There are nearly 500 free parking spaces available, as well as spaces for buses and motorhomes and two charging stations for electric cars. E-bikes can also be charged; the charging stations are located at the small parking lot and at the bicycle rack area at the main entrance. For people with disabilities, there are six disabled parking spaces directly in front of the spa, as well as barrier-free changing rooms, showers, and restrooms, wheelchairs, beach wheelchairs, walkers, and a lift to the therapy pool or gallery. In the sauna park, the use of mobile phones and cameras is only allowed in the media lounge; in the thermal landscape, quiet use and refraining from photos are requested. These rules are part of the relaxing character of the establishment and help keep the atmosphere calm. ([kisssalis.de](https://www.kisssalis.de/info/anfahrt-parkplatz?utm_source=openai))

There is also a practical solution for overnight guests: directly at the spa, there are 18 motorhome parking spaces with supply and disposal facilities. The parking space is intended for motorhomes, and the Bad Kissingen city center is about 1.5 kilometers away according to the website and can be reached on foot or by city bus. Those who stay with a guest card even receive an additional hour in the spa according to the parking space page. This is a sensible component for anyone planning their visit not as a day trip but as a small wellness break. For the keyword hotel, it is particularly important: The website clearly focuses on thermal baths, saunas, wellness, and flexible overnight options around Bad Kissingen, not on a classic hotel operation directly in the house. ([kisssalis.de](https://kisssalis.de/de/info/womo-stellplatz?utm_source=openai))

Gastronomy, Breakfast & Vouchers for Birthdays and Breaks

Those planning a whole wellness day should consider the gastronomy of the KissSalis Therme. The house describes its culinary concept as healthy enjoyment with vitamin-rich cuisine and light dishes made from regional products around Bad Kissingen and the Rhön. This includes a thermal restaurant, a bistro in the foyer, a self-service bistro in the thermal landscape, and a sauna bar. Breakfast is also available, and it is offered until 11 AM, so even late risers can enjoy it: coffee and a glass of juice are included in the price. Guests can eat daily in the restaurant, with longer opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays. For a quick snack between two bathing or sauna sessions, the website also provides snacks, cakes, baguettes, salads, and hot dishes directly in the relaxation areas. ([kisssalis.de](https://www.kisssalis.de/gastronomie))

The KissSalis Therme is also well-prepared for gifts. Vouchers can be purchased online, at the cash desk, in the glass office in the foyer, or in the bath shop; according to the FAQ, they are valid indefinitely and can even be used for entry or restaurant visits. Therefore, they are particularly suitable as birthday gifts. Additionally, there are extras in the voucher shop such as sun islands and moor rooms, which are small wellness add-ons that make a visit even more personal. Those who want to plan even more specifically can also reserve wellness appointments by phone or online. This way, the search for vouchers or breakfast becomes not just a practical visit but often a complete wellness day with clear structure and pleasant added value. It's a nice pool and the whirlpools are great. The outside pools are nice and warm. When you get out of the pool, the air temperature is good. There are plenty of seating around the pools.

One of the best if not the best thermal complex I've visited in Germany. Weekdays are quieter than weekends. 23€ for 3 hours with the sauna area access is very good value for money.
