KNAUS Campingpark Bad Kissingen | Prices & Opening Hours

The KNAUS Campingpark Bad Kissingen is located at Euerdorfer Straße 1, partly framed by the Franconian Saale, directly opposite the spa park and in close proximity to the city center. This location makes the site particularly interesting for guests who want to combine camping, spa town flair, and short distances. The city itself has been known for years for its historic spa buildings, traditional healing springs, the Regentenbau, the Rose Garden, and the Arcade Building. Bad Kissingen is also one of the European spa towns that are part of the Great Spas of Europe UNESCO World Heritage. So, if you are looking for a location that serves not only as a place to stay but also as a base for walks, wellness, culture, and city sightseeing, you will find a very clear answer here. The official website also transparently provides price information, booking, site plan, opening hours, pictures, and guest reviews, allowing for good planning of the stay even before arrival. Prices and Booking at KNAUS Campingpark Bad Kissingen

When searching for prices, it is usually not just about a number, but about the value for money of the entire stay. The official website indicates a starting price of €37.90 for the KNAUS Campingpark Bad Kissingen. This applies for 1 person and includes the pitch for a caravan plus a car or motorhome, electricity, drinking or fresh water, the use of sanitary facilities, and the environmental contribution. This makes it clear at first glance that the price indication should not be viewed in isolation but as a package of pitch, infrastructure, and basic services. For guests planning their trip to Bad Kissingen, this is helpful as it allows for a transparent assessment of the initial costs. Especially at campsites in spa locations, this combination of price, location, and amenities is a decisive factor, as many travelers expect not just a place to sleep but a pleasant, practical environment. The website directly leads to the price information and booking section, making the next step possible without detours. ([knauscamp.de](https://www.knauscamp.de/bad-kissingen))

For the booking decision, it also matters that the camping park offers more than just pitches. In the immediate vicinity are the spa park, Luitpold Park, the city center, and numerous attractions that make the stay varied even outside the site. This means: When comparing prices, one should always consider the quality of the location. A site directly on the Saale, opposite the spa park and close to the city center can have a higher practical value for many guests than a cheaper location with longer distances. Additionally, the camping park clearly works with further inclusive services on the website, including Wi-Fi, hot showers, supply and disposal, and the guest pass for Bad Kissingen. This also influences the perception of price, as it forms the basis for a comfortable stay. For SEO searches related to prices, booking, and camping in Bad Kissingen, this is therefore a strong topic area: searchers want to know not only what the site costs but also what they get for it and why the location is worthwhile. Opening Hours, Arrival and Departure 2026

Those searching for opening hours primarily want security for their arrival. The season planning for KNAUS Campingpark Bad Kissingen is very specifically indicated on the website. For the low season 2025/2026 from November 3, 2025, to February 28, 2026, as well as for the low season from November 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, limited operations apply with reception from 8:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00. In the pre-season from March 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026, and in the main season from May 1, 2026, to August 30, 2026, the reception is staffed from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. In the post-season from August 31, 2026, to October 31, 2026, the hours are 8:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00. This information is particularly important for guests as it directly affects check-in planning and helps avoid misunderstandings with later arrivals. For a camping holiday that may be combined with wellness, city strolls, or concert visits, reliable times are a central comfort factor. ([knauscamp.de](https://www.knauscamp.de/bad-kissingen))

The arrival and departure times are also clearly regulated. For camping guests, arrival is scheduled between 15:00 and 18:00, and departure must take place by 12:00 at the latest on the day of departure. An early arrival until 12:00 and a late departure until 17:00 are possible for a fee, but only subject to availability and not bookable in advance. For rental properties, arrival is possible from 16:00 to 18:00, and departure must be by 10:00. These rules are relevant for many travelers as they govern the daily routine around arrival, shopping, catering, and leisure. For example, if someone arrives in Bad Kissingen after a long journey, they can coordinate their arrival neatly within the time window and do not have to improvise. For this reason, opening hours, arrival, and departure are among the most important search terms for this location. They answer the practical core question: When can I arrive, how long can I stay, and when must I leave the site again? This creates planning security and makes the camping park attractive even for short stays. ([knauscamp.de](https://www.knauscamp.de/bad-kissingen))

Site Plan, Pitches, and Amenities

The site plan of KNAUS Campingpark Bad Kissingen shows that the facility is clearly structured and covers various needs. The legend includes sanitary facilities for ladies and gentlemen, toilets, and accessible toilets. There are also service areas such as cooking and washing facilities, washing machines, chemical disposal, motorhome port, gray and black water disposal, gas bottle sales, and waste disposal. Important points for everyday life such as snack bar, playground, tent meadow, golf course, dog gate, and canoe are also listed. For guests who want to inform themselves about the site plan in advance, this is the decisive added value: one can see not only that there is a facility but also how the service concept is organized on site. The overview shows that the paths are short, the functional areas are clear, and the typical camping needs are directly accessible on site. This is particularly relevant for caravan and motorhome guests, but also for tent travelers who appreciate good orientation. The 100 pitches are thus not experienced as an abstract number but as a concrete, easily readable structure. ([knauscamp.dk](https://knauscamp.dk/bad-kissingen/platzplan))

The variety of overnight options is also remarkable. The official site lists pitches for caravans, vans, and motorhomes of all vehicle brands, tent pitches, long-term pitches, pitches for workers, and Mars-type mobile homes. This makes the camping park interesting for very different target groups: classic holiday campers, short-term guests, long-term residents, and travelers with special requirements. Additionally, the website mentions Wi-Fi, hot showers, supply and disposal, children's playground, canoe landing site, dog station, guest pass Bad Kissingen, and the jetty over the Franconian Saale to Luitpold Park as inclusive services. Furthermore, a mini-market with rolls, Fritz Berger camping articles, washing machine, dryer, and gas bottle exchange are additional offers, some for a fee. For the SEO logic surrounding site plan, pitches, and amenities, this is ideal because users are not only looking for a place but a camping solution with clear structures. Especially in a spa town where many guests want to combine relaxation, short distances, and practical infrastructure, these amenities are a strong selling point. ([knauscamp.de](https://www.knauscamp.de/bad-kissingen))

The official gallery of KNAUS Campingpark Bad Kissingen shows exactly the motifs that characterize the site: the entrance, the sanitary building at night, the playground, the canoe landing site, the tent area, the Saale with a view of the spa park, as well as additional impressions from Bad Kissingen and the area of wellness and camping. This imagery is enormously helpful for potential guests as it immediately conveys how the site feels. Especially the motifs with views of the spa park and the Saale illustrate how closely nature and urban ambiance play together here. ([knauscamp.de](https://www.knauscamp.de/bad-kissingen))

The KissSalis Therme with 7000 square meters is also highlighted. In the vicinity, the website also points to further excursion destinations such as the Klaushof Wildlife Park, Aschach Castle, and the spa train. For the stay, this means: The camping park is a starting point for short distances and different daily programs. Those seeking peace can use the spa park, those wanting culture can attend concerts or visit historic places, and those preferring relaxation can plan a visit to the thermal baths. This versatility makes the location particularly attractive and explains why Bad Kissingen is so frequently searched by camping guests along with photos, surroundings, and experiences. Very welcoming people. Can speak relevant English, but tend to return to very fast local German dialect if you try to speak some German. I suffer from bad hearing and need to see the mouth of the person that is talking to me. Turning away from me and speaking speedy German made me misunderstand an important information about the morning service from the local bakery. The campsite and buildings are well maintained. Good space for your vehicles. There are shower cabins where you can undress, shower and dress in privacy. Reception and gate is closed between 12:00 and 14:00 hrs. Which is quite a standard in Germany. New entries from 14:00. You must vacate at 12:00 at the latest. The campsite is very close to the town of Bad Kissingen. Shopping for food and tourist stuff within walking distance. Bringing a bike is recommended. There are no steep hills and you do not have to walk or bike on the road. The park between the campsite and town is nice, and you will find sunny and shady areas. If you visit the town, you must at least walk to the Rose Garden.

Very nice reception staff, we arrived at 18:00 and they told us to drive in and come back in the morning for check-in. It is possible to inflate a SUP and do a small boating tour on the "river" by the camping. The price of 57 EUR for a family is a bit on the expensive side..

Nice camping with simple facilities. Restaurant only open Wednesdays. Surrounding areas and park are really nice. Be sure to get a place far away from the road bridge.
