Adventure & Allrad | Directions & Tickets 2026

ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is the off-road, caravanning, and overlanding fair in Bad Kissingen. It will take place from June 4 to 7, 2026. The official website mentions over 400 exhibitors from around the world, a large CAMP AREA, and a wide range of 4x4 series vehicles, quads, ATVs, pick-ups, expedition and motorhomes, tent solutions, spare parts, accessories, travel equipment, as well as innovations in sustainability and e-mobility. This mix makes the event a meeting point for off-road fans, world travelers, DIY builders, and everyone looking for solutions for real travel and terrain, not just vehicles. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/?lang=en))

Bad Kissingen itself provides the perfect backdrop: The spa town is known not only regionally as a traditional place with culture, hospitality, and gastronomy but also as a location for an area used for nature experiences, team-building, and diverse outdoor formats. The pro-log GmbH describes its own event area as ideal for corporate events, product presentations, driver training, and management seminars. Thus, ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is not just a trade fair visit but a whole experience space where technology, travel passion, and live atmosphere come together. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/messe-infos/anfahrt))

Directions, Parking, and Shuttle to the Fair

Those traveling to ADVENTURE & ALLRAD should plan their arrival consciously, as the organizer clearly states that direct access to the fairgrounds is not possible. Instead, free visitor parking and a free bus shuttle are provided, which operates between the parking areas and the CAMP AREA to the fairgrounds. Coming from the A7, visitors should use the Bad Kissingen/Oberthulba exit, and from the A71, the Bad Kissingen/Oerlenbach exit. After that, follow the signs and do not use the navigation system for the final approach to avoid unnecessary traffic jams. It is also important for day visitors that there are no parking spaces available in the CAMP AREA. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/messe-infos/faq-haeufig-gestellte-fragen))

Even without a car, the fair is easily accessible. According to the official directions page, Bad Kissingen train station is connected to the ICE stations in Würzburg and Fulda via regional trains. From there, the free shuttle bus or a taxi takes visitors directly to the fairgrounds. Those arriving by plane can travel via Frankfurt am Main, Nuremberg, or Erfurt and require about 90 minutes of driving time to Bad Kissingen according to the website; alternatively, the airfield in the Au in Bad Kissingen is available with shuttle connections. It is also possible to walk, but the route is quite demanding at around 6 kilometers in length and a constant incline. Arriving by bicycle is also possible, but only via the safe route through Reiterswiesen and without taking the bicycle onto the fairgrounds. Opening Hours, Tickets, and Prices 2026

The official opening hours show that ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is organized as a true day fair with clear visiting windows. In 2026, the fair opens from Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The last admission is one hour before the end of the fair. Additionally, there are specific arrival times for the CAMP AREA: Arrival is possible from Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 1:00 PM, and on the fair days Thursday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. This helps with planning for those who want to combine fair day and overnight stay. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/messe-infos/oeffnungszeiten?utm_source=openai))

The ticket prices remain transparent. The day ticket for adults costs 25 euros in the online shop and 28 euros at the box office. Reduced tickets are available online for 15 euros and at the box office for 18 euros; the discount applies, among others, to children and teenagers aged 9 to 16 years inclusive, as well as to students, apprentices, retirees, and people with disabilities. The 4-day ticket costs 50 euros online and 53 euros at the box office. Additionally, there are family tickets for 2 adults with up to 3 children up to 16 years old, as well as lecture tickets that are only valid in combination with a day or season ticket. Admission is free for children up to and including 8 years. Those arriving later can also purchase a short day ticket, which is available from 4 PM, and on Sundays from 3 PM, at the box office. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/messe-infos/preise?utm_source=openai))

Exhibitors, Vehicle Worlds, and Thematic Areas

The fair thrives on its exceptionally broad thematic mix. In the categories on the official website, you will find off-road vehicles and SUVs from the most important manufacturers, motorhomes and caravanning solutions, quads, ATVs, and side-by-sides, conversions and modifications, spare parts and accessories, roof tents, tires, sustainability and e-mobility, outdoor equipment, travel organizers, and other thematic areas. This diversity is not coincidental but precisely the concept of the event: Visitors can not only look at vehicles but also understand the entire chain from the base vehicle to the conversion to concrete travel planning. Those looking for a vehicle for long-distance travel, a family vehicle, or a robust off-road setup will find a marketplace for inspiration and comparison here. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/en/information/categories))

Especially interesting is that ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is also used by many manufacturers for product premieres. The fair is thus not only a showcase for existing models but also a stage for new solutions in the field of all-wheel technology, expedition vehicles, and accessories. Additionally, manufacturers and providers from the outdoor and travel sector as well as media from the scene, such as trade magazines and special formats that have been accompanying the event for years, are present. The official website also emphasizes that the event has long been one of the most significant fairs in the off-road, caravanning, and overlanding scene. This positioning explains why not only vehicle fans but also DIY builders, overlanding travelers, and industry professionals meet here. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/?lang=en))

CAMP AREA: Overnight Stay, Arrival, and Atmosphere

The CAMP AREA is one of the most characterful parts of the entire event. During the fair days, part of the Saalewiesen in Bad Kissingen transforms into the ADVENTURE & ALLRAD CAMP AREA, which the organizer describes as a superlative long-distance travel meeting. Here, travel and expedition vehicles from around the world meet thousands of visitors, and the scene gathers not only during the day but also in the evening for exchange. The official description even speaks of a kind of 'Woodstock' of the off-road scene. This is more than just a marketing image: It refers to a special mix of travel stories, campfire atmosphere, technical discussions, and real community among people who understand traveling as a way of life. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/en/camp_area?utm_source=openai))

Practically, the CAMP AREA is as clearly regulated as the fair itself. Reservation of parking spaces is not possible, and tickets for the CAMP AREA are sold exclusively on-site at the camp entrances. The area is only open during the fair days, there is no power supply, and in case of rain, mud may occur due to the grassy areas. Some spots are inclined, so the organizer recommends appropriate leveling wedges. Shuttle buses connect the CAMP AREA with the fairgrounds, and it is also stated: no day visitor parking, no commercial advertising, and no unauthorized sales activities. At the same time, there are sanitary facilities, showers, gray and black water disposal, and a catering zone in Camp 1. Therefore, those who want to camp should not only think about the overnight stay but also about well-prepared self-sufficiency. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/Arrival?utm_source=openai))

Workshops, Lectures, Family Day, and Special Guests

The supporting program is an essential part of what distinguishes ADVENTURE & ALLRAD from a classic vehicle fair. Since 2021, in addition to the many workshops at the stands, there is a dedicated workshop tent. There, exhibitors, world travelers, motorhome manufacturers, and authors meet for open lectures and discussion rounds. According to the website, the workshops are held in German. Additionally, there is a lecture series on the fairgrounds, which is especially interesting for visitors who want to learn rather than just look: travel planning, vehicle technology, conversions, tour experiences, and practical knowledge from first-hand are the topics here. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/en/information/workshops/workshop-zelt?utm_source=openai))

The fair becomes particularly family-friendly on Sunday. Then the traditional Family Day takes place, featuring face painting, a drawing competition, and other activities for young visitors. At the same time, a special guest will perform on stage in the catering area starting at 1 PM on Sunday. The list of guests over the years shows how strongly the fair also functions as a stage for personalities from sports, travel, television, and adventure culture: from the Ludolfs to Ralf Zacherl, Lina van de Mars, Alexander Huber, and Michael Martin to Reinhold Messner, Walter Röhrl, Jan Ullrich, and in 2026 Felix Neureuther. This mix of technology fair, stage program, and family experience gives the event its unique dynamics. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/Familientag))

History, Grounds, and Special Atmosphere in Bad Kissingen

ADVENTURE & ALLRAD has an unusually strong historical depth in Bad Kissingen. According to the official organizer's description, the fairgrounds are located on an over 110,000 square meter open area that was previously used by the US Army as a missile defense site. More than 25 years after its inception, the fair concept is considered revolutionary and groundbreaking. What started as a new idea for off-road and long-distance travel fans is now one of the leading off-road and all-wheel long-distance travel fairs. This background also explains why the grounds do not feel like a neutral fairground but like a place with character, history, and a very unique spatial feeling. ([m.abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.m.abenteuer-allrad.de/fuer-aussteller?utm_source=openai))

Additionally, the role of pro-log as the organizer and operator of the event grounds is significant. The company describes its grounds as a place for nature experiences, team-building, corporate events, product presentations, driver training, and management seminars. Bad Kissingen simultaneously provides the appropriate infrastructure with hospitality, gastronomy, cultural offerings, and a long spa tradition. Even the approach makes it clear that the fair does not function in the center but deliberately on an outer area with a shuttle system. This combination of off-road suitable terrain, lived event culture, and the special location in a traditional spa town creates the atmosphere for which ADVENTURE & ALLRAD has been known for years. This exhibition is not what it used to be. I've been at least 15 times and this was my last time. The campground is very expensive, 35€ + 5€ tax for a small vehicle, and you only get a Dixi toilet. Also, you need to come early to get a spot, it's not allowed to reserve a place, and everyone does it, especially the fancy people with the big trucks. At the exhibition, there isn't really much for true off-road overlanders, just fancy stuff and everything is very expensive. Never again, there are other exhibitions that are smaller and better.

Awesome exhibition if you're into adventurous travel or when you're planning to explore the world. Whether you want to buy a fully equipped off-road truck or you're rather thinking about converting a 4x4 vehicle, it's quite likely that you will be inspired by what is shown. The venue is huge so put on those walking shoes. Organisation is tip-top. Pro-log did a splendid job! Absolutely great.

Are you looking for the worst organized camping venue in the world? If so, look no further than Allrad 2023!!! The greatest minds in the world would struggle to create something so incompetent and unsafe. Site access control: 0/10 Communication between marshals: 0/10 Safety corridors and emergency exits: 0/10 Traffic management: 0/10 I could go on... It was a disaster and even some of the marshals were embarrassed by this utter omnishambles and I cannot believe that the local fire and council authorities permit this level of organizational incompetence. As for the actual event (30 mins away from the campsite by bus) I guess it's fine if you are interested in conspicuous consumption (e.g. very expensive vehicles and equipment) rather than overland travel. We (and others) parked as directed, then got a notice on the windscreens threatening to tow our vehicles away. Madness, utter madness. We had to relocate. On a positive note, the sun came out. In summary, you could spend your money on this event, or you could spend it on enjoyable overland travel. Choose wisely.
