Adventure & Allrad | Offroad Fair & Tickets 2026
ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is not a classic exhibition hall, but a huge open-air experience in Bad Kissingen that brings together off-road, caravanning, overlanding, travel inspiration, and technology in one location. On the approximately 110,000 square meters of land, which was previously used by the US Army as a missile defense site, vehicles, accessories, stages, nature, and fair life come together directly. That is exactly what makes it appealing: visitors see products not in sterile showrooms, but where they can actually be used later. The event is scheduled for June 4 to 7, 2026. According to the official website, more than 400 exhibitors, a camping area, lectures, workshops, driving courses, and a clearly organized shuttle and parking concept are included. Those looking for a location that combines a sense of community and practical organization will find one of the most well-known addresses for off-road fans, RV enthusiasts, outdoor buyers, and curious families in Bad Kissingen. Because the area is open, technical, and close to nature at the same time, the place differs significantly from classic exhibition halls. Visitors experience arrival, parking, shuttle, and camp area not as a side show, but as part of the concept. This creates the special mix of trade fair and adventure festival. Opening Hours, Tickets, and Admission for ADVENTURE & ALLRAD 2026
The most important visitor questions revolve first around opening hours, tickets, and admission, as this determines how relaxed the day begins. For 2026, ADVENTURE & ALLRAD opens from Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; the last admission is one hour before the fair ends. Ticket purchase is deliberately kept flexible: According to the FAQ, tickets are available in the shop, at the box office on the fairgrounds, or in the CAMP AREA. The ticket pages show that tickets are available as a PDF immediately after ordering, can be checked via QR code, and are usable both printed and digitally on smartphones. Additionally, the ticket package includes free visitor parking, a free shuttle between parking lots, CAMP AREA, and fairgrounds, as well as free visitor Wi-Fi. This is particularly pleasant for families, as the family ticket is valid for two adults and up to three children up to 16 years old, and children up to and including eight years have free admission. Those planning to come with small children or a longer journey can think ahead and organize their fair visit in stages. People with disabilities also benefit from a free extra shuttle that goes directly from the parking lot or CAMP AREA to the entrance. The fair thus relies on a system that reduces waiting times, creates orientation, and focuses on the actual experience: arriving, getting out, discovering. This is particularly important for a large outdoor and off-road event because here not just a ticket, but an entire day's schedule is organized. Those who want to stay longer can plan the event as a multi-day experience; the shop offers not only day tickets but also a season ticket. This is sensible for visitors who want to not only browse but also experience lectures, shopping rounds, and the area at their own pace. This is complemented by the official daily program with a grand opening, active fair, driving courses, and workshop tent, making the admission worthwhile not only practically but also content-wise. Access and Parking: How Visitors Reach the Fairgrounds
Access is a crucial point for many visitors because the fairgrounds are located in the middle of a nature reserve and cannot be accessed directly by car. The official recommendation is to use the signage and not to follow the navigation device. From the A7, the exit Bad Kissingen/Oberthulba should be used, and from the A71, the exit Bad Kissingen/Oerlenbach; from there, the way leads via signage to the free visitor parking lots. From there, shuttle buses run continuously to the fairgrounds. Taxi rides are the only motorized exception besides the shuttles: taxis are allowed to drive directly to the entrance. Those arriving by bicycle will find only a limited number of parking spaces at the entrance; bicycles are not allowed on the grounds. Walking is also possible, but it is about 6 kilometers from the city with a constant incline. For practical visits, this means: Those with large luggage, bulky purchases, or traveling with children should plan the shuttle logistics from the start. This can be important, especially for off-road and camping products, as larger purchases can also be taken directly on site. The fair even offers a paid transport service that brings bulky goods from the grounds to the visitor parking lot or to the CAMP AREA. This shows that the journey is not just a side issue but an integral part of the fair concept. Visitor flows are deliberately directed through parking lots and shuttles to keep the nature zone relieved while ensuring smooth fair access. Those who want to arrive relaxed should therefore not only consider the route but also the return trip, as the shuttle buses, according to the FAQ, run until shortly after the fair ends, and no later connections are offered afterwards. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/en/information/getting_there))
CAMP AREA, Shuttle, and Overnight Stay in the Middle of the Offroad Grounds
The CAMP AREA is one of the most distinctive features of ADVENTURE & ALLRAD. During the fair days, part of the Saalewiesen in Bad Kissingen transforms into a long-distance travel meeting with expedition vehicles and motorhomes from all over the world; the official description speaks of one of the largest and most spectacular gatherings of its kind worldwide. Those wishing to stay overnight should know that reservations are not possible, and allocation occurs directly at the entrance. Access is officially indicated at the entrance Im Lindes. There are fixed time windows for arrival: The FAQ states that arrival is possible from Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and on the fair days from Thursday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Day visitor parking is not available in the CAMP AREA, so day guests must use the designated parking lots. This separation makes the concept so clear: the CAMP AREA is for campers, while the parking areas are for visitors without overnight stays. Additionally, there is a free shuttle bus between the parking lot, CAMP AREA, and fairgrounds, making even the paths with equipment or children manageable. There is also an extra shuttle for guests with mobility impairments. Those purchasing bulky goods can have them transported to the parking lot or CAMP AREA for a fee during opening hours. This is particularly useful for roof tents, outdoor equipment, or other bulky accessories that cannot simply be loaded into a normal shuttle bus. The CAMP AREA is thus not just a campsite but a social hub of the event where vehicles, travel, campfire atmosphere, and fair experience intertwine. The official ticket site aptly describes the principle with immediately bookable overnight stays on-site without prior reservation. For many visitors, this is exactly the real magic of the fair: daytime professional program, evening camping community, and in between direct exchange about vehicles, travel, and conversion ideas. ([abenteuer-allrad.de](https://www.abenteuer-allrad.de/camp-area))
Exhibitors, Workshops, and the Program for Offroad Fans
The level of exhibitors and programs is one of the reasons why ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is considered the leading off-road and all-wheel-drive long-distance travel fair. The official website mentions over 400 exhibitors from around the world, and the product range includes 4x4 vehicles, quads, ATVs, and pickups, as well as expedition and travel motorhomes, spare parts, accessories, tents, travel gear, and innovations in the fields of sustainability and e-mobility. For visitors, this means: those interested in vehicle technology will find points of connection here, just like people who want to learn about roof tents, awnings, chassis, recovery accessories, or complete travel conversions. Additionally, there is an event structure with a lecture series, workshop tent, and driving courses. The fair is thus not just a pure sales point but a place where products can be experienced in the field. The fact that the lecture area is even located in Hall 3 and a fair ticket on the same day is additionally required for the lecture ticket shows how important the stage and knowledge program is. The fair thus sees itself as a mix of fair, learning place, and live experience. Those arriving with a specific project receive advice, comparison options, and a direct look at materials, processing, and practical benefits; those who are just curious discover a whole world of travel vehicles, accessories, and outdoor ideas. Even in 2026, the daily program remains lively: Thursday is marked by the grand opening with VIPs and media, Friday and Saturday are characterized by sales stands, driving courses, and workshops, and on Sunday, special guests and family day are added. From the retrospective of 2025, it is evident that the fair attracted thousands of visitors again with over 400 exhibitors, varied workshops, and travel lectures. This confirms the role of the location as a true meeting point of the scene and explains why the fair is equally attractive for manufacturers, converters, travel providers, and outdoor brands. Those specifically looking for innovations will not only receive brochures here but a complete picture of vehicles, accessories, advice, and real field use. Family Day, Special Guest, and Stage Moments with Emotion
ADVENTURE & ALLRAD knows how to connect the trade fair with audience-strong elements. The family day on Sunday, June 7, 2026, is the best example: the family ticket is valid for two adults with up to three children up to 16 years old, and children up to and including eight years have free admission. According to the official program overview, there will be face painting in the morning and afternoon, as well as a drawing competition with awards on stage in the catering area. This turns the fair visit into a shared experience that is also worthwhile for families without deep expertise. At the same time, the fair remains challenging enough for hardcore off-road fans, as a prominent special guest, Felix Neureuther, will appear on Sunday, expected on stage in the catering area from 1 PM to talk about his life. The official site emphasizes that he will then be available for questions, selfies, and autographs. Such program points show that ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is not just an exhibition space but an event format that brings people, stories, and topics together. The history of the special guests also speaks for this: since 2011, among others, the Ludolfs, Ralf Zacherl, Lina van de Mars, Willi Weitzel, Ralph Caspers, Joey Kelly, Matthias Malmedie, Reinhold Messner, Walter Röhrl, and Jan Ullrich have participated. This makes it clear that the fair repeatedly attracts a piece of pop culture, adventurous spirit, and media attention to the grounds in Bad Kissingen. For visitors, this is particularly valuable because the fair thus serves multiple needs simultaneously: technical interest, travel fascination, family time, and stage program. So, those looking for a fair that not only presents products but also creates emotions, conversations, and encounters are exactly right here. The family day forms the relaxed, accessible conclusion of a weekend that is otherwise strongly characterized by professional topics and outdoor content, ensuring that even young guests find their own access to the event. History, Grounds, and Special Infrastructure in Bad Kissingen
The history of the grounds and the brand ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is closely linked to the development of the off-road market in Germany. According to the official retrospective, the first off-road fair took place in Bad Kissingen in May 1999 under the name Off-Road-Aktiv; it was the beginning of a success story and the precursor to today’s event. In the following years, the fair increasingly developed into the central meeting point of the scene, already in 2005 as one of the largest off-road fairs in Germany, and in 2007 it received the defining appearance it has today. In 2018, the fair celebrated its 20th anniversary, associated with a charity initiative called Herzenssache. In 2020, it was canceled for the first time due to the pandemic, after which ADVENTURE & ALLRAD DIGITAL was created, allowing exhibitors to present their products online. This development shows that the format is not rigid but can respond to changes. Equally important is the site itself. The fair area is located in the middle of a nature reserve, covers about 110,000 square meters, and was previously used by the US Army as a missile defense site. In recent years, numerous works have been implemented, buildings restored, sanitary facilities renewed, and the infrastructure digitized. A dedicated microwave network ensures, according to official information, high-performance Wi-Fi throughout the area. This is a decisive advantage for a fair that thrives on vehicle technology, exhibitor communication, online tickets, lectures, and media presence. Pro-log also describes the area as its own event location, which can be used year-round for corporate events, product presentations, driver training, and management seminars. Thus, ADVENTURE & ALLRAD is more than just a fair that takes place once a year: it is a place with historical depth, technical infrastructure, and an extraordinary connection of nature, scene, and experience. Bad Kissingen provides not only the geographical framework but also the tourist backdrop of a traditional spa town that is well-suited for guests with hotels, gastronomy, and excursion options. Therefore, those visiting the location experience a mix of fair, travel camp, and extraordinary event venue that is rare in this form. For many visitors, this is exactly the real magic of the fair: daytime professional program, evening camping community, and in between direct exchange about vehicles, travel, and conversion ideas.
This exhibition is not what it used to be. I've been at least 15 times and this was my last time. The campground is very expensive, 35€ + 5€ tax for a small vehicle, and you only get a Dixi toilet. Also, you need to come early to get a spot; it's not allowed to reserve a place, and everyone does it, especially the fancy people with the big trucks. At the exhibition, there isn't really much for true off-road overlanders, just fancy stuff, and everything is very expensive. Never again, there are other exhibitions that are smaller and better.

Awesome exhibition if you're into adventurous travel or when you're planning to explore the world. Whether you want to buy a fully equipped off-road truck or you're rather thinking about converting a 4x4 vehicle, it's quite likely that you will be inspired by what is shown. The venue is huge so put on those walking shoes. Organisation is tip-top. Pro-log did a splendid job! Absolutely great.

Are you looking for the worst organized camping venue in the world? If so, look no further than Allrad 2023!!! The greatest minds in the world would struggle to create something so incompetent and unsafe. Site access control: 0/10 Communication between marshals: 0/10 Safety corridors and emergency exits: 0/10 Traffic management: 0/10 I could go on... It was a disaster and even some of the marshals were embarrassed by this utter omnishambles and I cannot believe that the local fire and council authorities permit this level of organizational incompetence. As for the actual event (30 mins away from the campsite by bus), I guess it's fine if you are interested in conspicuous consumption (e.g. very expensive vehicles and equipment) rather than overland travel. We (and others) parked as directed, then got a notice on the windscreens threatening to tow our vehicles away. Madness, utter madness. We had to relocate. On a positive note, the sun came out. In summary, you could spend your money on this event, or you could spend it on enjoyable overland travel. Choose wisely.
